Posted Date: August 16, 2012

To Our Customers,

A derailment in Ringer, Kansas, approximately 50 miles south of Kansas City, yesterday has destroyed a railroad bridge, impacting service along our north and south corridor between Kansas City and Ft. Worth. Trains originating north of Kansas City destined to locations south of Ft. Worth and Arkansas are currently being rerouted.

We anticipate that these reroutes will continue into next week as crews work to rebuild the bridge and make associated repairs. Customers with shipments moving in this corridor should anticipate 24- to 36-hour delays.

We will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
