Categories: General Announcements
Posted Date: August 20, 2012

To Our Customers,

Crews continue work to rebuild a railroad bridge destroyed last week by a derailment in Ringer, Kansas, approximately 50 miles south of Kansas City. Trains originating north of Kansas City for shipment along our north and south corridor between Kansas City and Ft. Worth continue to be rerouted.

Repairs are expected to be complete by mid-week, with operations resuming Wednesday evening. In the meantime, customers with shipments moving through the impacted area should continue to anticipate 24- to 36-hour delays as crews complete bridge construction and associated repairs.
