Operations Suspended Between El Paso and Dallas/Ft. Worth

To Our Customers,

Union Pacific has suspended operations along our main line corridor between El Paso and Dallas/Ft. Worth, following a crossing incident yesterday afternoon in Midland, Texas. Union Pacific employees are currently on the scene, assisting the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) with the investigation. 

We are currently holding all trains in the corridor, pending the completion of the investigation. Operations are currently estimated to resume at approximately 3:00 p.m. (CST) today.

Our sympathies go out to the Veterans and family members involved in this tragic incident.
