Update on Rail Operations in Colorado

Announcement Number: CN2013-16
Categories: General Announcements
Posted Date: October 11, 2013

 To Our Customers,

Since the Front Range flooding in mid-September our maintenance crews have worked diligently to repair several track washouts in Colorado and the surrounding areas. Rail service on our southwestern route between Denver, Colo., and Salt Lake City, Utah, (Moffat Subdivision) has now been restored and we are running trains for 12 hours each day. We continue to conduct maintenance on this line for the alternate 12 hours of the day to fully restore operations. We have adjusted the transportation schedules in our online tracing tools to reflect the new transportation plans for the impacted area.

If you have any questions please contact your Union Pacific representative.
