Winter Weather Conditions Affecting Mainline and Switching Operations

To Our Customers,
Extremely cold temperatures, drifting snow and gusting winds are affecting our network in Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin. This weather event is slowing our mainline and switching operations in the affected areas and will impact our ability to switch local customers in many locations. This weather event also is impacting other carriers in Chicago, St. Louis and other interchange locations. Customers can expect delays with all interchanging traffic in the affected areas.
Temperatures are expected to moderate by Wednesday. In the meantime, customers can expect delays of 24 to 48 hours for all traffic moving through impacted areas.
