Streamline announces a new feature to Shipment Management: Delivery Appointments

Beginning February 6, 2013, Streamline customers are now able to set Delivery Appointments through the Shipment Management application.

Streamline’s Shipment Management system knows where your load is and keeps you informed.  Notifications will now be sent to you when your shipment is 48 and 24 hours from the ramp indicating a delivery appointment is needed.  When you are ready to set your delivery, you will choose the type of appointment, day, and time.  Delivery Appointments are synchronized with Streamline’s drayage team and will let you know their availability.  In the instance of selecting an appointment needing Streamline’s approval, you will be notified on-screen. 

 

You may still set your delivery appointment when you create your tender however if you need to make changes, you will now go to the new Delivery Appointments feature through Shipment Management.
