Posted Date: September 24, 2014

Dear Intermodal Customer,

Terminals at the Port of Los Angeles reopened as of 9 PM on Tuesday after being closed for several hours because of a fire at a breakbulk terminal. The Alameda Corridor Transportation Authority stated that rail traffic has been open and moving all day, but access to those marine terminals that were closed had been denied, impacting rail traffic along the corridor. Operations will gradually return to normal continuing into the weekend.
