Empty Ingates Suspended at East LA, Facility

Union Pacific is experiencing an increase in empty activity at our East LA facility. To alleviate ramp congestion, maintain ramp fluidity and operational functionality, empty ingates will be suspended at East LA effective Wednesday, July 20th at 1200 PDT until further notice. Customers are able to return empty equipment to LATC, ICTF, Montebello, and City of Industry facilities. Empty reservations will continue to be granted from LATC, Montebello, and City of Industry. Notification when the gate re-opens will be sent via customer communication.
