Dear Intermodal Customer:
Union Pacific will be adjusting rates in the over-dimensional rate authority SCQ 50093, effective May 1, 2014. All rates in SCQ 50093, with the exception of the lanes identified below, will be increased by 2.9%. Please refer to the rate matrix attached for specific rates. The revised SCQ 50093 will be posted to the secure "MyUPRR" web site as a PDF file (after May 1st).
The following SCQ 50093 lane will not take an increase on May 1, 2014:
Rates to and from SAIT, TX (San Antonio)
SCQ 50093 is used for the shipment of over-dimensional marine containers as outlined in MITA 2-A, Item 440. MITA 2-A applies to all over-dimensional shipments on Union Pacific.
