Pacific Northwest Eastbound Lanes Gate Reservation Process Suspended

Dear Intermodal Customer,
Effective Tuesday, January 1, 2013, the gate reservation process will be suspended for eastbound lanes from Seattle & TacSim, WA, and Portland, OR. Specific involved lanes are as noted below.    
Portland --> Chicago Interchange, Dallas(Mesquite), Dupo, Global 2, Global 3, Houston, Kansas City, Marion, Memphis Interchange
Seattle --> Council Bluffs(Omaha), Dallas(Mesquite), Dupo, Houston, Kansas City, Marion, Memphis Interchange
TacSim --> Chicago Interchange, Global 2, Global 3
 
On this date, shippers may in-gate their traffic in Seattle & TacSim, WA, and Portland, OR without reservations, in the above lanes only.    
As demand warrants, UPRR may reinstate the gate reservation system in the above eastbound lanes upon advanced notice to customers.
Please note: Southbound shipments from the PNW will continue to be subject to GRS. For your convenience these lanes include:
Portland --> LATC, Lathrop, Laredo(Ramp)
TacSim --> LATC, Lathrop
