Empty Ingates Suspended at Brooklyn, OR Facility

Dear Intermodal Customer,

Union Pacific is experiencing an increase in empty activity at our Brooklyn, OR facility, which is causing significant congestion. In an attempt to maintain ramp fluidity and operational functionality, empty ingates will be suspended from Brooklyn effective May 6th at 2359 PST. Customers are able to return empty equipment to the Albina, OR ramp. Empty reservations will continue to be granted from both Brooklyn and Albina.
Union Pacific will continue to monitor fluidity at Brooklyn, and as soon as congestion subsides, empty ingates will be accepted. Customers will be notified via intermodal bulletin.

If you have any questions please contact your Union Pacific representative.
