Dear Intermodal Customer,
Effective May 15, 2016 Union Pacific is making changes to the service from Global 1, IL to Brooklyn (Portland), OR. The Sunday train currently departing out of Global 1 with a gate cut-off of 23:00 Saturday night, will now depart out of Global 2, IL. As a result, units in-gating for the Saturday 23:00 cut-off will need to in-gate at Global 2.
This change applies only to the Saturday gate cut-off and the service schedule will remain the same. The gate cut-off time at Global 2 will remain 23:00 and the availability time at Brooklyn will remain at 06:00, day 4.
Please be aware that any units that in-gate at Global 2 after the 23:00 gate cut-off on Saturday will be scheduled for standard service on the next train. Freight billed expedited that will not make the Saturday 23:00 cut-off at Global 2 should in-gate at Global 1 for service to Brooklyn.
The service schedule from Global 2 to Brooklyn for freight billed standard will remain unchanged.
