Storage Policy at Mexico Ramps Effective July 1, 2015

Dear Intermodal Customer,
 
Effective, Wednesday, July 1, 2015, the storage policy at Mexico ramps on southbound movements will be day of notification plus three days with weekends and holidays* free. Upon expiration of free time, a non-escalating fee of $30/day will be charged to the customer. This policy will apply to rail-owned equipment at all Mexico terminals and all equipment (rail-owned and private) at FXE terminals (Escobedo & future ramps).
 
Also effective July 1, 2015, REZ-1 will start invoicing customers for storage charges incurred in Mexico. Today, customers are charged directly by the KCSM at their terminals for storage incurred in rail-owned equipment. Any invoice received directly from KCSM for storage incurred prior to July 1, 2015 should be paid in full to the KCSM.
