Update on Hanjin Shipping Company

Due to recent events concerning Hanjin Shipping Company, please be advised of the following:
1. UP will no longer accept tender of loaded or empty Hanjin containers
2. Release of import or export loads to the BCO/responsible party will require:
a. A Hanjin provided pick up number/s. Pick up numbers, can be obtained by contacting Hanjin at sctrail@us.hanjin.com
b. An approved dray provider (UIIA); and
3. UP will collect all freight and applicable accessorial charges from the BCO/responsible party
a. Contact creditgroup@up.com the with container ID/s and valid pick up number/s to determine outstanding freight and accessorial balances
