Chicago:
Global 1, Global 2, Global 3, Global 4, Yard Center
 
Trains = At Yardcenter, outbound trains will be departing up to four hours late. At all other terminals, outbound trains will be departing on time. Terminals are taking inbound trains upon arrival.
Assets (Power, Cars, Crew) = Locomotive supply is tight across the Chicago terminals. At Yardcenter, car supply is tight. At all other terminals, car, and crew supply is adequate.
Operations = No incidents impacting operations at this time.
LA Basin:
ICTF, COI, ELA, LATC, On-Dock
 
Trains = Outbound trains will be departing on time. Terminals are taking inbound trains upon arrival.
Assets (Power, Cars, Crew) = At L.A. Basin, locomotives will be tight this evening. Car and crew supply is adequate.
Operations = Customers, please outgate all possible units today due to heavy projected inbounds and low outgates over this coming weekend.
Starting November 1, UPRR is changing origin ramps, from LATC to ELA, for domestic business destined to Laredo, Houston, SAIT, Rio Valley and New Orleans.   Customers will be able to bill from Los Angeles starting October 29th, but can't ingate earlier than their gate reservation permits. The cutoff for the last LATC train (ZLCAT) will be October 31 at 20:00 for Laredo, SAIT, Rio Valley and New Orleans and October 31 at 23:00 for Houston. Units arriving at LATC after gate cutoff on October 31 will be redirected to Los Angeles. See below intermodal announcement for further information.

Also effective on November 1, UPRR is changing the origin ramps, from ELA to ICTF, for marine container business billed to and from Kansas City and St. Louis (Dupo). Customers will be able to bill from ICTF starting October 29th           . The cutoff for the last ELA train (ILADU) will be October 31 at 1800. Units arriving at ELA after gate cutoff on October 31 will be redirected to ICTF. See below intermodal announcement for further information.

West Area:
Portland (Brooklyn), Seattle, Seattle On-Dock, Tacsim, Tacoma On-Dock, Oakland, Lathrop, SLCIT, Denver.

Assets (Power, Cars, Crew) = Locomotive, car, and crew supply is adequate.
Operations = Customers, please outgate all possible units today due to heavy projected inbounds and low outgates over this coming weekend. BNSF has 1.5 hour spacing between Seattle and Portland for Portland, Seattle, Seattle On-Dock, TACSIM, and Tacoma On-Dock areas for various Maintenance of Way work.
-Portland: 1.5 hour spacing, 5:00am to 5:00pm (PDT).
-Seattle/Seattle On-Dock: 1.5 hour spacing, 10:00pm to 10:00am (PDT).
-TACSIM/Tacoma On-Dock: 1.5 hour spacing, 10:00pm to 10:00am (PDT).
South Area:
Houston, Englewood, Dallas, DIT, Marion, SAIT, Avondale, Dupo, El Paso, Laredo.

Operations = Effective on November 1, UPRR is changing the destination ramps, from ELA to ICTF, for marine container business billed from and to Kansas City and St. Louis (Dupo). Customers will be able to bill to ICTF starting on October 29th.  The cutoff for the last train to ELA (IDULB) will be October 31 at 2300. Units arriving at Kansas City and St. Louis (Dupo) after gate cutoff on October 31 will terminate at ICTF. See below intermodal announcement for further information.
