Dear Intermodal Customer,
 
Ramp storage fees will be applicable to Union Pacific's new Intermodal service offering to Monterrey via the FXE. The ramp storage feeds are consistent with UP's current Mexico Direct service. The charges will be assessed on all container types based on the following conditions:
 
Destination Storage: Loads originating in the United States or Canada and destined for Monterrey, Mexico will be assessed destination storage charges if containers are not outgated by the van notify day + 4 days (includes weekends and holidays).
 
Origin Storage: Loads originating in Monterrey, Mexico will be assessed origin storage charges for loaded containers that exceed ingate day + 13 days (includes weekends and holidays).
 
Once exceeding the last free day a storage charge will be applied at $30.00 USD per day.
 
Our intent with this fee structure is to ensure that assets are utilized effectively, the ramp can operate efficiently, and we can strive to provide the best service possible.
