Posted Date: December 6, 2012

To Our Customers,

The International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU)/Office Clerical Unit (OCU) agreed to a tentative deal late Tuesday to end the strike that has hobbled the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach for more than a week. Union Pacific is currently implementing a recovery plan for moving backlogged westbound freight and eastbound freight held at On Dock locations during the past week.

Union Pacific plans to cancel the embargo today at 4:00 p.m. CT for all international traffic destined to our International Container Transfer Facility (ICTF) at Long Beach, California and all On Dock locations at both Los Angeles and Long Beach.

Our embargo web page will reflect these changes later today.
