The following is a special bulletin on the upcoming winter storm, Juno, that is expected to impact the Northeast early this week.
Winter storm Juno is predicted to produce blizzard-like conditions across at least 7 states in the Northeastern part of the United States. Blizzard warnings are in effect across this area beginning Monday afternoon and lasting through late Tuesday evening. Winter storm Juno brings with it forecasted accumulation of 1 to 2 feet likely, with some areas picking up over 2 feet of snow. Sustained winds are expected be 20-40 mph across most areas, with gusts up to 55 mph. Peak impacts of the storm are expected late Monday through Tuesday night.
