Union Pacific Corporation Announces a 10 Percent Dividend Increase for Third Quarter 2018

Omaha, Neb., July 26, 2018

Union Pacific Corporation (NYSE: UNP) announced that its Board of Directors today voted to increase the quarterly dividend on the Company’s common shares by 10 percent to 80 cents per share. The increased dividend is payable September 28, 2018, to shareholders of record August 31, 2018.

"I am pleased to report that we have raised our dividend by nearly one-third over the past year, keeping pace with the growth in our earnings per share," said Chief Financial Officer Rob Knight. "This increase is consistent with our plans to raise cash returns for our shareholders."

Union Pacific has paid dividends on its common stock for 119 consecutive years.
