Embargo Issued for Eastport, Idaho

To Our Customers,
Union Pacific has issued an embargo for the Eastport, Idaho, gateway. This embargo is being issued in anticipation of a labor disturbance by the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) against Canadian Pacific (CP). The embargo will be effective Feb. 16 and will include loads going in either direction, which should avoid undue congestion at Eastport.
The disturbance is anticipated to begin at 12:01 a.m. EST on Sunday, Feb. 15. We will continue to provide updates as additional information becomes available.
