To Our Customers,

The ILWU (International Longshore and Warehouse Union) and the PMA (Pacific Maritime Association) have reached an agreement. West Coast ports are expected to return to normal operations over the next several weeks as a result of this five-year agreement, which still needs approval from ILWU members.

Even though no official work stoppage occurred, West Coast port operations were impacted in recent weeks. Union Pacific has plans in place and resources staged to bring operations back to normal. We will continue to monitor port operations and fluidity, and we will work closely with our customers to restore operations to normal as soon as possible.

If you have any questions, please contact the National Customer Service Center or your Union Pacific representative.
