Damaged Bridge in Texas Leads to Delays

To Our Customers,

A bridge near Roanoke, Texas, which is part of the Choctaw Subdivision in the greater Dallas-Ft. Worth area, was damaged in a derailment incident Sunday evening. No injuries were reported, but repairing damage to the bridge is expected to take five to seven days. During that time, Union Pacific will utilize alternative routes, including some on another carrier's network. Customers with freight traversing the Choctaw Subdivision should expect delays of 48 to 72 hours while the bridge is under repair.
