To Our Customers,
Union Pacific's north-south route between Mason City, Iowa, and Minneapolis-St. Paul re-opened with speed restrictions Tuesday afternoon. Our east-west line near Cedar Rapids, Iowa, re-opened with speed restrictions on Wednesday morning.
We continue to monitor and inspect track conditions across both corridors and will increase both speed and traffic volume as safely and efficiently as possible. While we work through the backlog of traffic in these areas, customers should anticipate delays of 24 to 36 hours.
