To Our Customers,
Today we completed repairs to the bridge between Banning and Indio, California, on our Yuma subdivision and have now resumed operations on the second track. For safety purposes, we will temporarily operate this line segment with slow order speed restrictions.
Although we have now returned all tracks to service that were impacted by Tropical Storm Hilary, it will take several more days to work through the remaining train congestion. We will also need to rebalance locomotive power and crews to the region. Customers should expect residual delays during this recovery effort.
