Weekly Service Update

Announcement Number: CN2015-44
Categories: Weekly Service Updates
Posted Date: June 17, 2015

To Our Customers,

Carloadings were up slightly while system velocity decreased a bit and terminal dwell increased a bit following network outages in the Powder River Basin. These outages have been restored, and the traffic backlog has been addressed. This week, we are facing potential effects from Tropical Storm Bill but have positioned resources in the area to mitigate impact to customers. Scheduled maintenance projects for the upcoming week include tie, rail and bridge maintenance on 11 key subdivisions, with a heavy focus on key routes in our Central Corridor and Texas. • System terminal dwell was 28.4 hours, which is up 0.7  hours compared to the previous week.
