Dear Intermodal Customer,
Effective November 10th, 2015, Union Pacific will be implementing an adjustment to the Master Intermodal Transportation Agreement (MITA), item 796-series covering Shipment Balance Surcharge. The "Part One East-West Shipment Balance Surcharge" will increase from $250 to $400. There will be no changes to the "Part Two West Coast Shipment Balance Surcharge".
