Dear Union Pacific Customers,
Effective January 1, 2021, rates for malt and barley in UP 208 items 1000 and 2000 will be updated and available via Prices and Price Documents Inquiry.
Based off of market dynamics and competitive factors rates will increase on average 4%, however, selective increases will vary by lane. In addition to the rate adjustments for January 1, 2020, we also made changes to geography groups and will continue to analyze market conditions and adjust rates as necessary. All rates will be subject to Union Pacific's carload mileage fuel surcharge provision.
