Effective Oct 1, 2021 Union Pacific will update rates in UP 4053 item 2900. The rates will increase $100 and will be applied to all rates for PRIVATE covered hoppers (capacity greater than or equal to 5,150 cubic feet). SYSTEM/FOREIGN covered hoppers will be rated 10% more than the PRIVATE covered hopper rates.
