Effective Oct 1, 2021 Union Pacific will update rates in UP 4053 item 4180. Rates will increase $150 applied to large PRIVATE covered hoppers (capacity greater than or equal to 5,150 cubic feet). Large SYSTEM covered hoppers wil be 10% more than the large PRIVATE covered hopper rates. Box cars and Tank cars will be priced the same as Large PRIVATE covered hoppers.
