Effective Oct 1, 2021 Union Pacific will update rates in UP 4053 items 3603 increasing $100, 3400 - increasing $75, 3440 increasing $50, & 3480 increasing $100. Refer to this LINK for the updated FXE thru rates in item 3606. For soybean meal (STCC 20923) the increase will be applied to all rates for large PRIVATE covered hoppers (capacity greater than or equal to 5,150 cubic feet). Large SYSTEM covered hoppers will be 10% more than the large PRIVATE covered hopper rates. Small covered hoppers (less than or equal to 5,149 cubic feet) rates will be 6% less than the large covered hoppers rated in item 3500.
