Sweetener and Starch Tariff Changes Effective January 1, 2017

Dear Union Pacific Customer,
Effective January 1, 2017, UP 2028 Item 1400 (corn syrup, corn starch, corn sugar, dextrine) will take an average increase of 4.1%. Specifically, the following adjustments will be effective from all origin points on Standard Private Tank Car Rates:
Midwest Destination States (IL, IA, NE, MO, KS, WI, MN) - $125 increase
South Destination States (AR, LA, OK, TN, TX) - $150 increase
Mountain Destination States (AZ, CO, ID, NM, NV, UT, WY, OR,WA)- $250 increase
California Destination State (CA) - $300 increase
Current spreads between car types will remain.
