2024/25 Wheat Selective Rate Adjustments

Effective June 1, 2024, Union Pacific will implement rate adjustments of $200 / car on Wheat commodities in UP 4052. Key components of the Renewal include;

Export Wheat items by Destination Market:

  • 6500 PNW
  • 7500 Gulf
  • 8500 Rule 11 Mexico

Domestic Wheat items by Destination State:

  • 1100 South (OK, TN, TX, AR, LA)
  • 1101 Midwest (KS, NE, IL, MO, IA)
  • 1102 Mountain (ID, AZ, WY, CO, UT, MT, NM, NV)
  • 1103 West (CA, OR, WA)
  • 1104 Eastern Shuttles – Chicago and St Louis, IL
  • 1105 Shuttles – St Louis, MO Termination
  • 1106 Upper Midwest (WI, MN, SD)

Flour items by Origin State as follows:

  • 11000 Wheat Flour and Midds KS/MO Origins
  • 12000 Wheat Flour and Midds NE/IA Origins
  • 13000 Wheat Flour and Midds ID, UT and CO Origins
  • 14000 Wheat Flour and Midds Upper Midwest, IL/MN
  • 15000 Wheat Flour and Midds All Other Origins
