Terminal Change for Traffic Moving Between Los Angeles and Kansas City/Dupo

Dear Intermodal Customer,
Effective April 24, 2017, Union Pacific is making a change to service for domestic shipments moving between Los Angeles, CA and Kansas City, MO and Dupo, IL.
Lanes impacted are below:
Los Angeles to Kansas City
Los Angeles to Dupo
Kansas City to Los Angeles
Dupo to Los Angeles
Traffic moving in both directions will shift from Los Angeles terminal to ICTF terminal.
Eastbound Traffic:
Eastbound shipments that currently ingate at Los Angeles terminal for movement to Kansas City and Dupo (local and interline) will shift to ICTF terminal.
The last day for shipments destined to Kansas City and Dupo (local and interline) to ingate at Los Angeles is April 21 at 1800. Any shipments after this time must be tendered to ICTF.
Westbound Traffic:
Westbound shipments that currently ingate at Kansas City and Dupo (local and interline) for movement to Los Angeles terminal will now terminate and notify at ICTF terminal.
This change will begin for shipments that ingate for the Monday, April 24 cut-off.
 
Service schedules will remain the same with the exception of the ramp change to ICTF. They can be found in the attachment below:
Service Schedules
The change of terminals from Los Angeles to ICTF is being done to alleviate capacity constraints at Los Angeles. Gate operations at ICTF will be 24 hour, 7 days per week, with the exception of Sunday 1800 to Monday 0600.
No gate reservations will be required for eastbound shipments ingating at ICTF.
