Embargoes for Hurricane Impact Areas

Dear Intermodal Customer,
Due to mandatory hurricane evacuations and preparations, effective September 7, 2017 19:00EST, the Norfolk Southern (NS) has issued an embargo for shipments destined for Charleston, SC, Savannah, GA and Jacksonville, FL destinations.
CSX has issued a hold on traffic for waybills destined for Savannah, GA, and Charleston, SC.
The Florida East Coast Railway (FEC) has also issued an embargo, effective September 7, 2017 17:00EST for freight destined to Miami, FL, Port of Miami, FL, Fort Pierce, FL, Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Jacksonville, FL.
In order to comply with the embargos, Union Pacific has discontinued accepting any shipment listed above effective Friday September 8, 2017. These restrictions will remain in place until the NS, CSX and FEC discontinues the embargo.
