Dear Intermodal Customer:
In observance of the Mardi Gras festivities occurring in and around the New Orleans area, Union Pacific’s New Orleans (Avondale), LA terminal will close at 7 p.m. Monday, February 27, 2017 and remain closed through Fat Tuesday, February 28th; resuming normal hours of operation beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday 2/29/17.
Note: Pursuant to MITA Item: 810-H, Pages: 4 & 5 (Storage Charges): Fat Tuesday is an exempt day and is not included in the computation of Free Time (where Free Time is Applicable). If Free Time expires prior to this holiday, this holiday will be chargeable.
