Terminal Change: Southern California to and from Kansas City, MO & St. Louis, MO

Dear Intermodal Customer:
 
Union Pacific is pleased to offer a significant enhancement to our marine container service over Southern California to and from Kansas City and St. Louis, MO. Effective Thursday November 1, marine containers billed to and from Kansas City and St. Louis (Dupo, IL) on a ramp to ramp basis will switch from our Los Angeles, CA terminal to ICTF, CA. This terminal shift to ICTF, CA provides near-dock proximity to the nation’s busiest port with drayage and chassis efficiencies for LA and Long Beach marine terminal operations.
 
* First cut-off for ICTF, CA as origin terminal will be Thursday November 1, 2012. All ramp to ramp marine containers billed from Southern California to Kansas City, MO and Dupo, IL should in-gate at the ICTF, CA after 18:00 Wednesday October 31, 2012. The last day to in-gate at Los Angeles, CA for Kansas City, MO and Dupo, IL will be Wednesday October 31, 2012, prior to the 18:00 cutoff. 
 
* First cut-off for ICTF, CA as destination terminal will be Thursday November 1, 2012. All ramp to ramp marine containers billed from Kansas City, MO to Southern California to will terminate at the ICTF after the 23:00 cutoff on Wednesday October 31, 2012. 
 
All ramp to ramp marine containers billed from Dupo, IL to Southern California will terminate at the ICTF after the 19:00 cutoff on Wednesday October 31, 2012. 
 
  • Gate Reservations are NOT utilized at the ICTF.
 
  • The schedule changes also apply to On-dock traffic destined to and from LA/Long Beach. 
 
  • The current rates in price document SCQ 46133 from Los Angeles, CA to Kansas City, MO and Dupo, IL and from Kansas City, MO and Dupo, IL to Los Angeles, CA will apply over the ICTF, CA origin and destination.
