Union Pacific Tops Fortune's Most Admired in Industry
Seventh Consecutive Recognition as No. 1 Transportation Company

Union Pacific was named the most admired among trucking, transportation and logistics companies by Fortune for the seventh straight year, marking the 14th time in 18 years the company has been named No. 1. The magazine's annual World's Most Admired list is published in the March 1 edition, available on newsstands Feb. 20.
Union Pacific ranked No. 1 in eight performance areas identified by Fortune:
- People management
- Use of corporate assets
- Social responsibility
- Quality of management
- Financial soundness
- Long-term investment value
- Quality of products or services

The Korn Ferry Hay Group, Fortune's research partner, surveyed executives, directors and analysts to select companies they admired most from a list that began with approximately 1,500 international and domestic companies.
