BURLESON, TX

The Burleson Visitor's Center across from the historic Interurban Depot in Old Town proudly displays the #330 rail trolley car, which is the oldest remaining interurban car, built in 1903. The center also displays the #411 Parlor car. These exhibits are quick reminders of the city's rich heritage that centered around the railroad. Incorporated in 1912, the railroad serviced a feed store, hardware and funiture store. The Feed store still is in operation today requiring car spots by Union Pacific.

Union Pacific's railroad tracks divide the east and west side of the city and parallels I-35. Burleson, Texas, is listed in the 2012 Top 10 Cities/Highest Absolute Population Growth by the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG).
