Ethanol Tariff Changes Effective October 1, 2016

Dear Valued Customers,
Union Pacific will renew rates for ethanol (denatured and undenatured) effective October 1, 2016. UP 2028 Items 1301-1390 will take the following adjustments from all origin points to the following regions.
To East Destination States (IL) - $200 average increase
To Midwest Destination States (IA, KS, MN, MO, NE, WI) - $200 average increase
To South Destination States (AR, OK, LA, TN, TX) - $150 average increase
To Mountain Destination States (CO, ID, NV, UT) - $200 average increase
To Pacific Coast Destination States (CA, OR, WA) - $350 average increase
In an effort to continually improve both asset utilization and supply chain efficiency the minimum shipment tender of the "Long Train" will increase from 96 carloads to 99 carloads.
