To Our Customers,
Adverse weather continues to impact rail operations on our network. Heavy rain has caused several washouts affecting both main line tracks on our Clinton subdivision near Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The Clinton subdivision is part of our east-west route between Council Bluffs, Iowa and Chicago. Repair crews and materials are en route, and we expect to have the line open in 24- to 48-hours. Shipments traversing the subdivision may incur a 48- to 72-hour delay.
