To Our Customers,

Velocity, terminal dwell and freight car inventory remained flat to the previous week, while 7-day carloadings increased by more than 6,000. Severe weather has caused widespread outages across the Southern Region states of Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Arkansas during the past two weeks. More rain is forecast for the coming week, so employees and resources are in position to mitigate potential impacts. Scheduled maintenance projects for the coming week include tie, rail and bridge maintenance on nine key subdivisions, with a heavy focus on key routes in the Pacific Northwest, Central Corridor and Texas.
