Service Suspended between Moyie Springs and Eastport, ID

To Our Customers,
Operations between Moyie Springs and Eastport, Idaho continue to be suspended due to a washed-out section of track approximately 20 miles south of the Canadian border. Due to poor subgrade conditions, we anticipate a five-day time frame to complete repairs, and customers can expect delays of five to seven days on their shipments. Responders are in the area and are working diligently to repair the track safely.
While operations are shut down between Moyie Springs and Eastport, traffic will continue to move between Hinkle and Spokane, Washington, and local service will also continue in these areas. We anticipate the largest impact will be to interchange traffic between Union Pacific and Canadian Pacific railroads. We do not anticipate an impact to our intermodal network.
