To Our Customers,

Following the repair of two bridges on the Houston Service Unit, Gulf Coast rail operations impacted by the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey have been fully restored.

The most recent efforts to restore service include:

  • Repair of the bridge south of Angleton over the San Bernard River
  • Repair of the bridge north of Houston over the San Jacinto River on the Lufkin Subdivision
  • Opening of the Beaumont Subdivision, allowing traffic to move more efficiently between Beaumont and Houston

The Hurricane Hotline will no longer be monitored. If your facility is currently out of service due to damage from Hurricane Harvey, please advise your Union Pacific representative when you are able to resume rail service.

Thank you for your patience over the last several weeks. As always, we appreciate your business.

If you have any questions, please contact Customer Care & Support or your Union Pacific representative.
