Washout Caused by Heavy Rainfall Impacting Operations in Southeast Kansas

To Our Customers,
Following extensive rainfall over the last 24 hours, a derailment caused by a section of washed-out track is impacting operations between Buffalo and Roper, Kansas (approximately 100 miles east of Wichita). Trains will be rerouted around the affected area. Customers with rail shipments moving through the impacted area can expect delays between 24 and 36 hours.
