Hurricane Ida - Update on Operations

To Our Customers,
Our network continues to recover from the impact of Hurricane Ida, following is a summary of current conditions:
- New Orleans Gateway
- Interchange with CSX and NOPB (New Orleans Public Belt) resumed yesterday.
- Interchange with the NOGC (New Orleans Gulf Coast) remains under embargo.
- The city-wide curfew remains in effect; interchange operations are restricted to the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. - Union Pacific's Avondale, Louisiana, intermodal terminal reopened today.
Customers in the affected area with facilities or tracks out of service should open a case in Case Management. Please refer to the detailed instructions on our Hurricane Planning and Recovery page so we are aware of these outages.
