Dear International Intermodal Customer,
As the July 4th weekend approaches, Union Pacific would appreciate your cooperation in prompt removal of inbound containers from UPRR intermodal facilities. This action will assist in minimizing congestion and ensure fluid operations.
Many UPRR intermodal terminals will continue to work de-ramping arriving trains at terminals. It will be imperative that sufficient space be available for grounding operations. In addition, it will be important that available chassis be returned to UPRR terminals prior to the holiday to support those grounding operations.
