Norfolk Southern Railway has issued Embargo NS001321 resulting from flooding associated with the remnants of Hurricane Ida. Consequently, Union Pacific will be closing intermodal gates to inbound intermodal traffic destined to Morrisville, Pennsylvania, Croxton and Erail, New Jersey effective immediately. Union Pacific will continue to monitor the situation and work with the Norfolk Southern to restart ingates to these points as quickly as possible. Anticipate that interchanging traffic already in route to these points will experience delays.
