Union Pacific is committed to listening to our customers and being attentive to changing market conditions. Due to continued high fuel prices, Union Pacific is pleased to announce an extension of the Temporary Weekly Domestic Intermodal Fuel Surcharge. Announced in April of this year, the surcharge was originally planned to be in place until at least October 2, 2022. That date will now be extended to at least December 31, 2022. The fuel surcharge remains unchanged at DOE HDF prices below $4.50 per gallon.
