Dear Intermodal Customer,
The Union Pacific Temporary Domestic Weekly Intermodal Fuel Surcharge is adjusted each week based on the price of highway diesel fuel posted by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA). The EIA has not yet published diesel prices for 6/20/22 or 6/27/22. Union Pacific will maintain the current weekly fuel surcharge of 54% for the week of July 4, 2022 – July 10, 2022. Once the EIA updates the diesel prices, we will correct (increase or decrease) the fuel surcharge for the weeks of 6/27 and 7/4 as necessary and rerate shipments from that period.
