Chicago Ramp Change: International Service Between Salt Lake City and Chicago

Dear Premium Customers,
As Union Pacific continues its effort to streamline international services in the Chicago metroplex, international traffic moving between Salt Lake City, Utah and Chicago, Illinois will transition from Global 1 to Global 4 in Joliet, Illinois, effective May 1, 2020. With this ramp change, all international service in the Chicago area will now operate at Global 4, providing consolidated chassis, car and equipment operations. In April, eastbound and westbound schedules will be updated at up.com, prior to this change going into effect.
